Meanwhile I'm trying to scrape together funds to get preregistered for Gencon in 5.5 weeks. I love that they've moved it earlier in august, but it makes it harder to get things ready in time. Fortunately I won't have a table this year (I just don't move enough yet to make it profitable,) so I only have to print what I need for portfolio and takeaway packets this year. Hopefully I'll get a gid or some commissions that will keep me from having to wait in line the wednesday before the show.
The lighter side of that is that they've announced some of the celeb guests at the show, and one of them is Jamie Bamber from BSG. Now, My wife lusts in her heart for James Callis, and claims that Bamber does nothing for her, but I know what a hopeless Brit-o-phile she is, and Bamber won't have to hide his accent at the show.
Hope bringing her up to the show for one or two days isn't a mistake
