Still feeling a sense of disconnection after Gencon. At the end of the four days you get kinda used to the chaos and have to re-acclimate to real life. Anyway, another good show this year for me.
Oddly, the show seemed more conservative this year. Less swag and a bit more serious a tone than last year out on the show floor. In the art show, however, traffic was great. The move to inside the main exhibit hall increased foot traffic a great deal and led to some nice flurries of business, especially on Saturday afternoon. myrmidryad, New Growth, and Storm Wolves were the big sellers this year. Bookmarks turned out to be a big seller as well.
It would have been nice if there hadn't been a Colts vs. Bears game Saturday night to frell traffic all to heck that night, but oh well. hopefully the early august date next year will prevent that next time.
special hellos to Andy, Patrick, Vicki, Patrick M., Beth, Terry, Avery, and Jason Engle. The dinner on Friday night was amazingly fun (Though Bucca's could have stood to turn up the air conditioning once all 50 of us were is there.)
